Liturgy Ministry
Full, Active Participation, Knowledge of, & Handling Tools of Worship
About Liturgy Ministry
Liturgy is an Instituted Ministry, among several different departments within the church. It was introduced in the Catholic church in 1972 by Pope John Paul VI, in accordance with Christ's teachings and the Doctrines of the Roman Catholic church. We, the liturgy group members are therefore the implementors of the Liturgy Motto: FULL, ACTIVE PARTICIPATION, KNOWLEDGE OF, & HANDLING TOOLS OF WORSHIP within the church.
Our Activities
- Learning and understanding church Doctrines, teachings and Faith
- Understanding and taking part in the Piety, i.e. the liturgical acts and procedures
- Supportive harmony for peaceful celebration of Mass, Feasts, Solemnities, Memorials, etc
- Glorification of God
- Sanctification of man (fellow Christians)
- Should be seen as one equal, and work towards preservation and improvement of the Catholic church
